My miracle!
So I'll start the story by saying that I've had severe allergies Since i was born. My allergy attacks were so severe that they would put me in bed. I've been going to allergists and ENTs for as long as I can remember. The allergists just put me on meds and steroids and gave me allergy shots. But that wasn't enough. It helped a little but not enough. The first ent that I had been going to did 2 sinus surgeries that I needed but he wouldn't fix my devaited septum. (which i knew was PART of the root problem) He said he couldn't fix it till I was 24. We went back to him when I was 20 and asked him to please do it and he wouldn't. He said it wouldn't help and that it would just make things worse. My deviated septum was blocking most of one side of my nose. He said if he fixed it , it would make both sides smaller. Haha that is so not true. He wasn't willing to fix it.
It just so happened that at that time I was now to old to go to a pediatrician. I needed to start going to a general practioner. Within 5 minutes of the first visit to the new gp he told me I have severe allergies and that I really needed my deviated septum fixed! I was like, um yea! I know! So right away on the first visit he referred me to a new ent who is supposed to be the best ent in north Orange County.
The first visit to the new ent wasn't very eventful. He said I needed to get a cat scan and we would go from there. We told him that we really wanted to have my deviated septum fixed and he said he would be wiling to do it but that it wouldnt help much and he didn't think it was worth doing. He pretty much tried to downplay it. Which was a bummer. I didn't let that bother me. I knew i needed the surgery.
So at the second visit He looked at my cat scan and said that I really needed to have my deviated septum fixed! He said I should have had it done 5 years ago! I was like, yea! i know! Finally a doctor that agrees with us and is taking action! (unlike all the other allergy doctors that I've been to) he got the paperwork started for the surgery right away! Yay. Finally. A much needed ray of hope! I had been really depressed. So this good news helps to lift my spirits. I had been depressed because there seemed to be no hope of my allergies getting any better. I thought I was gonna have to be miserable for the rest of my life! But God knew otherwise.
Surgery was on oct 11th at 8:45 am!
October 11th about 4 pm. Had nasal surgery!! So happy! It went well! I'm doing well!
Not only did I finally have my deviated septum fixed but the ent found the ROOT problem while in surgery. The root problem didn't show up in the X-rays or cat scans. He didn't see the root problem till he was in surgery fixing my deviated septum. The root problem was that the sinuses in my forehead were abnormally to small. He said no wonder I was having all these allergy problems. He now saw why I could never get nose spray up there before. The MIRACLE is that he would not have seen the ROOT problem had he not been up there fixing my deviated septum. He had to be up high enough in my nose to see the root problem.

Oct 25th
I can finally breath through my nose for the first time in years! I can breath through both sides of my nose for the first time since I can remember!!!:):):) plus now I have a really good ent That knows what he's doing and can help me! There's hope of me staying well this time! I can finally get my steroid nose spray all the way up there for the first time since I can remember!!!:):):) I'm so happy! I'm hopeful that this is the turning point and that I can get my life back!

November 8th
Had my 3rd post op appointment on the 8th. The doctor looked inside my nose and said its never looked better! He said he is so glad he did the surgery! He said I really should have had it done 5 years ago! He thinks this surgery will continue to make a huge difference! :):):) happy me!!!:):):)
I just had a gut feeling that If I had my deviated septum fixed that it would change my life. I just knew I needed that surgery! I was right! Had I not had my deviated septum fixed they would have never found the root problem! God is good! That is my miracle! Thank you Lord!!! :):):)
