Separation of Church and State

No matter what the revisionists say, We (these United States of America) have always been a God fearing nation. As such, we have reaped the benefits of divine providence and experienced blessings and prosperity unprecedented in history. Though you may never hear this in our state run schools, our founding fathers and greatest leaders clearly understood it. This page is dedicated to their wisdom and vision. It presents in their own words, the goals, hopes, and dreams which they held for this great Christian experiment. Many risked all that they have including their very life, that we might reap these blessings.

Give me Liberty or Give me Death!

In school, I remember learning that Patrick Henry said "give me liberty or give me death!", but I didn't learn of the source behind his boldness found in the paragraph before these famous words in the same speech: "There is a just God who presides over the destinies of nations, and who will raise up friends to fight our battles for us. The battle, sir, is not to the strong alone; it is to the vigilant, the active, the brave."

Protecting the free exercise of religion

The first amendment (addition) to the constitution protects our religious freedoms. It was never intended to restrict them!
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Many quotes I have heard often, I could not find a reliable source.  Relying on such quotes may prove disappointing if they can not be backed up.
